EHubbs has dropped a lot of knowledge here and for the most part I agree with what's in here:
- You weren't ready for the weight on that day which led you to lose confidence and cut it high.
- You train alone and always push yourself. That is mentally draining.
- You also went into the session with the preconceived notion that you had that squat in the bag. Every time I have done this, it has ended badly.
You know what you need to do. You have the strength for that weight and in a meet you will have redemption.
