Thanks, all I could see was what I thought were sticks, aluminium stuff...makes sense now.
I know you and others maybe consider it a waste of energy but gyms, or a percentage of gyms, take a dim view of it and people aren't permitted to do that or even tolerated; saying that, some gyms won't even permit Oly/throwing
lifts which is a tad confusing especailly after the trainer/instructor doing the induction showed me a dumbbell snatch
so, the difference between a DB OH snatch and a BB OH snatch would be a "throwing lift"...oh wait, that would be both of them
