Concentrate on getting stronger. It gives you a tangible goal to work for and you have real feedback whether your making progress or not. The mirror and the scale can take longer and give you flawed feedback. Eat in a way that supports your main goal (getting stronger). I promise if you put 300 pounds on your raw total it will give you the best chance to put on mass.
