Each source has a different amino profile, so we were always taught to vary our protein sources, and by doing so you were covering more "amino bases", if this makes sense?

It may or may not have the same supporting nutrition as an egg, but the protein levels are still substantial for bread, which is good.

As long as you're not only eating bread for a protein source, it's all good.
