What I can tell you is that you can let your current body type drive you or you can ignore it and become the monster you want to be. You genetics are not in your control. Your diet, training, and recovery are. I first started lifting after I had come off of a tendon tear in my foot. I was a young SGT in the army before my injury. I was 6'2" and a fairly lean 220lbs. After 18 months of no exercise I was 292lbs of chewed bubble gum. I had no idea what eating right was prior to my injury. I had always relied on my PT program to keep me in good shape. I now had to do something about it. I started to read about dieting and weight training. I fell in love with powerlifting and strongman. I only touched weight a few times in my life until I was almost 28 years old. Soem of my workouts where embarassing at my size, weight, and age. I did not let that discourage me and neither should you.
There are guys everywhere who havent let anything get in their way and have accomplished their goals. you have to have the drive to do it.
Ask some of those huge guys how long they have been at it. Almost everyone starts out with tiny weights in their life. I know I did and I am not ashamed to admit it.

Here is a perfect example of a guy who was tiny and through hard work and dedication has made himself into a LW pro strongman.
