I wonder if doing the 20 rep squats before the deadlift was a contributory factor? Every time I've hurt myself on deads, I've been in a fatigued state when I started the set. Just a thought.
I was thinking the same thing I may just stick with hyperextensions or good mornings next time I attempt the 20 rep routine. I miss it.
I was picking up weights after my shift and it felt fine. I woke up this morning and my back was completely locked up. Not ready yet.
