Same here my favorite books are always the ones I just read a few I remember loving though are...

"Watchers" Dean Koontz, don't watch the movie but one of my favorites.

"Christine" Stephen King, read this in 6th grade and still love it.

"Animal Farm" George Orwell, had to read it this year for English and let's just say I have read and seen the movie twice since January.

"The Autobiography of Malcolm X" Malcolm X with Alex Haley, loved it, also very interesting because 3/4 of the book was written when he was with the nation of Islam and the last few were written after he was kicked out.

"A People's History of the United States: 1492-Present" Howard Zinn, not for everyone a somewhat controversial book but still interesting to see the history of the USA through someone else's view.
