Learn a hook grip. Painful at first, it essentially turns your fingers into wraps. Lighter pulls like RDLs are a good way to transition in to these. I've been doing them for a couple of months and I'm already holding onto weights beyond what my mixed grip will allow.

Also, the even setup by having both hands over feels better in my shoulders and upper back.
