There was this cat I trained with who was OCB on this point. Wanted big legs, but wouldn't squat because narrow squats hurt his knees, and wide squats are only for powerlifters.
Shut up and squat. For a bodybuilder, "powerlifting squats" are better than nothing.
oddly, many powerlifters and strongman competitors i know think bodybuilders could out squat a lot of them. i squat with a wider stance, its easier on my knees and works my outter sweep a lot more, which needs more work than my tear drops. but nice post big V!
