It does. I almost took a couple headers today hiking. I started catching my toe on the way back as I was getting fatigued. Nerve regeneration is slow, but it happens! Training hard is a great way to assist!
Yeah training hard does help, but obviously we have to be cautious when doing any compound movements that could be heavy loads/compress the spine (heavy bench, any dead lifts...etc).

I miss dead lifting!
