When you tell someone to "eat big", what does it mean?

If someone needs to "eat big", how should they eat?
I know I say this a lot, but to me, it simply depends. It depends on the person we are talking to, and their current physical disposition. For example, if we have a person 20 years old, with a a rather high metabolism, is 6ft 4in 140lbs, advising him to eat big and subscribing a eating program would be different as compared to another 20 year old who is 6ft 4in and weighs 220, and wants to add in a little more muscle mass. In addition, simply advising one to eat big without further clarification to their specific nature, sometimes does not get to the root of the problem.

Best regards,

Chillen
