Where did you miss the bench?
I missed it a few inches off the chest. What helped my bench go up before was abbreviated training combined with a focus on poundage progression. I also added in some bottom-position work. Before that I was doing ~205, and I went up to 185x5x5, 205x5, and 235x1.
My muscles are still getting used to the old motor patterns it seems, but my lifts are climbing back up quickly.
