Band Pull Aparts


I needed a dip/pullup belt and this website in Aus had them on sale, like 50% off. So I got some, and I wanted to play a little with bands for benching, I think I might not be fast enough off the press, I always seem to get stuck mid way. I picked up 2 sets to play with.

First one is 45-55lb, the other is 60-80lb. I got the mini bands, they are perfect for benching.

The plan is on Fridays (2nd benching day) to do some band work, also to do some band pull aparts.

Today I had a little play with the bands and they were fun. I look forward to Fridays benching.

I just have to figure out the best way to apply them, and even if they are needed. On Fridays I work up to a top set of 5 on bench, maybe if I do that with bands it will help me commit to the rep and push fast. Or the other alternative is the speed work with a band, but I dont know if I am strong enough to get the benefits from speed work like that.
