ME Squat Day

I squatted vs a blue band today, tough for sure. I worked up to a new record of 126kg. I then backed off for speed work and hit about 12 sets or so. Moved to split squats next from a slight defecit and then pullthrus. These damn glutes/ hammies will get strong one way or the other dammit!! Solid day squat was HEAVY and deep but I got it.

So my 15 year old is a high jumper, he just had states where he placed 6th. He was not happy but his coach has pushed him to start lifting for his jumping, he came around last night to ensure my gym was suitable!!! Eleiko comp bar, power rack, SSB, bands/chains, sled, enough weight,Yeah I reckon it will do!!! haha Anyways he gets a slight variation of Ripps starting strength to start with. Should be great cant wait to see what it does for his jumping.
