No, I've never done that.
In fact I've never really put direct trap work as a major part of any routine. I generally just think of them as secondary to deads and rows, and upright pulls.
That, however is looking at it from a BB standpoint and not wanting to much trap development that would throw off delt symmetry. Pure powerlifters will probably have just the opposite opinion.
Don't get me wrong. I want traps, I would just prefer to bring their size up gradually after I'm happy with other aspects.
