I didn't bring my log to work with me today, so I won't be able to post the sets/reps from my squat and deadlift tests.
I hit a huge milestone last night, 1000 lbs total!
Squat - 385 lbs. - This was the first time I've ever tested my 1RM for squats, and I couldn't believe the pressure created in my body. It felt like I could pop! 365 was tough, so I added 10 and 375 was a tougher, but I felt like I had a little more so 10 more lbs and 385 went up. It was a bit of a grinder, but I'm very confident I was well below parallel in the hole, so I am satisfied with the results. I was aiming for 405, but I can't complain.
Deadlift - 405 lbs. - Also the first time testing deadlift 1RM and they felt very strong. The heavier they got, the more light-headed I felt after the attempts. I tried 415, but at that point, it didn't budge lol.
Squat - 385 lbs
Bench - 275 lbs
Deadlift - 405 lbs
Total - 1065 lbs!
Bodyweight - 201 lbs
I may attempt 285 and 295 on bench friday, I haven't decided yet. 1000 lbs was my goal for august, so now I'm officially working toward 400/300/500.
