I am not going to tell you to eat big, because this is far to broad. What I will recommend is for you to learn what you personally need in calories in accordance with your current physical properties, and assign macros accordingly. And, then assign a surplus of calories to gain good weight. In addition, eating alone, is not enough. You have to give the body a "reason" to partition these calories to build mass, and recover, and this is why I asked you what you were currently doing in weight training. In addition, learning your personal stats will provide enlightened detail, and more advice tailored to these specifics.
