I really don't want to say this, because it involves the truth...
I love squats and deadlifts. There's nothing a new 1RM PR in those two exercises can't cure. I'm serious - it feels ****ing !awesome! when you rip a ton of weight off the floor like its light weight. Or even if you struggle your ass off til your nose bleeds. That PR is something accomplished and when it happens, it feels ****ing !fantastic!
However, I honestly believe my favorite is bench. Subconsciously, I love that lift. I don't treat it or talk about it like I do, but I've never squatted or pulled more than I've benched. I can press heavy weight all damn day long and never really get tired. And I always make gains like a noob. When I get a pec strain, I'm right back up in big numbers fast. When I don't train forever, I can walk back in and throw up 2 plates per side for sets, and more in no time.
Bench is my bread and butter, and I think this is the first time I've ever admitted that its my favorite.
