I personally do not make any that is pinpointed around the new year or its associated holiday. Personally, its an on-going self and environmental evaluation, in which I can change/modify/improve at any time during the course of the year, and make goals/adaptions accordingly despite the date, and implement dates, where applicable. In its general context attributed to the general public, resolutions generally do not last, and do not work for very long.
