Went out last night for dinner and had some cocktails. Felt rough and back was still stiff from Thursday's deads. Felt like giving it a miss but I went in regardless, unsure as to what I would do weight wise. After 2 sets I felt strong as a horse. A new squat PR followed.
Today's Lesson: ALWAYS MAKE THE SESSION! We really have no idea what wil happen. Sometimes we will do a bad session but on other occasions, you'll really surprise yourself.

My face looked like a strawberry but I got in 5 good hard reps. Incredibly pleased
BB Bent Over Rows
Pendlay's are not working for me. I just don't feel comfortable so I went back to the other version, weak boy rows as Steve calls them
Bit of body English but not ridiculously so.
Felt a wee bit rough by now so I called it at set 4. If it felt good, I would have tried a PR.
