I dont have a gym bag
My phone (which is turned to aeroplane mode when I train so no one texts/calls me) stores my workouts and plan for the day on an excel spread sheet and a towel and a drink bottle. My ipod lives in my pocket with my phone. When I train I put it on the floor under a bench or in the rack. If its deadlift day I bring in my straps and chalk.
