That was a long read, but worth it (besides the little back-n-forth).

The only thing I'd like to add...

As you progress, physique gains become less and less and make it more difficult to monitor progress. But progress in the weight being lifted during workouts is easier to track and therefore a good indicator of overall progress. The weight progression slows as you advance, but still moves faster than added muscle.
