Frustrated tonight. I spent about a lot of time helping a young trainee setup a routine and diet, and he is gaining weight, but wants to stop. Progression is too hard, and he wants something easier.

hats off to you for even trying to train someone, ive gone through about 15 people now and the only one who still lifts is my brother.
people have this thing these days ware they think quitting is ok if something is hard.
wheres the fun in that? progrssion is the only thing that makes me want to keep lifting,,,,,
its a terrible life but i thrive off ego.
if i see someone lift more than me i go 'how the fuck is he lifting more than me??'
if i see someone lifting less i go 'lets show this fucker how its done'
