Yes, I've used pea protein. I didn't pursue it because it was very pricey and I couldn't find a wholesaler.

The stuff I had was chocolate flavoured, mixed well and tasted nice. But there was an unflavoured variety too, and the 'nutrition expert' who was shilling it said it was great when blended with fruit juice and ice - it creates a 'smoothie' consistency. The powder itself is completely flavourless.
