For a beginner, there is no difference.

Spend a couple of years being progressive on a good beginner routine that focusses on a handful of basic compound lifts. After you've made some progress it will be clear if you were meant to be a bodybuilder, powerlifter, or just a general physical enthusiast. You can then tailor your training to your specific goals.
