lol thats how i started out with the clean. Unless you know a coach i wouldn't do the full clean, but the powerclean is pretty easy to learn.

also another idea which i have done with success is the squat,push,pull which were you choose a squat(front,back,box or any), a push(bench,ohp or any), and a pull(row,chinup,DL) i did it with a 5x2 5x3 5x1 with 90%, 80%, 70% 1rm with 3 different exercises for mon wen fri.

but that could be used with your program to, with straight 5x5, thats just the type of stuff i like to do though
