I'd actually suggest that most people utilize MORE pulling exercises than pulling because most people have such overworked internal rotator cuffs and front delts from working chest and biceps so much! Opening those shoulders up is the way to prevent injuries.
With the posture most people have these days and the kyphotic, rounding back they could use the rows.
