For a long time I was using whey and dextrose after training but that's digested too fast and leaves me with empty stomach pains unless I load up on a full meal as well which isn't always practical. In the last few months I have tried using pre-made chocolate milk and I find it leaves me much more satisfied and fuller for longer (I sound like a cereal advert
). This is obviously complete broscience as I have no nutritional qualifications but it seems to suit my metabolism and needs better. Hope that helps.
