I did it during my 8 week cut last summer, except I was allowed oatmeal for breakfast.
I also just put a morbidly obese client on a modified version too. Oatmeal for breakfast and 1 more starchy carb during the day. He also gets 2 glasses of milk and 1 serving of greek yogurt per day too.
A true paleo diet doesn't allow dairy products either.
There is nothing "smart" about a 3rd attempt deadlift.
