I lift because I like it and it makes me feel good, but more importantly, I got serious about lifting in some ways because I want my 5 year old son to always think of me as someone that is strong, and that maybe he might want to be strong too, and I could help him achieve that.

He inspires me, and he may never lift a weight ever.

On the other hand, my two year old younger daughter is butt strong right now. I bet she is the first President of any sex with a 300 pound clean! I wouldn't put it past her! She is tough.
