From that period, I recall a 'Superfight' between The Predator Fry and... someone (pos. Mark Hall). Fry had him on his back against the cage for maybe 15 minutes, punching the same spot on his ribcage till he's got a haematoma. Then it splits.

Fry keeps on hitting, and the guy keeps on taking it.
