My personal rule is 3-4 days per week while you are muscle building. This can be done fullbody, with an A/B split or a split.
I do not strictly recommend fullbody workouts, although I do believe they are a great option to try when you want to build muscle and strength. Splits can (and do) work, but often they are bloated with too much work, for no reason.
In anything, I recommend keeping it simple.
I'll stick with the basic movements,i don't need difficult/specialty exercises for the moment.
