I was talking with a bass player who is contemplating a headset mic. So far, I think…

Pros: you can move around, look at your fingerings, and the mic picks up your voice.

Cons: It also picks up every little breath or unintended voice noise. You have to be careful when talking to band mates. You cannot make moving away from the mic a vocal technique, like when you know you are getting very loud on some phrase or you’re straining for a high note and want to be “further back” in case you miss your pitch. If wireless, there is the extra equipment of the transmitter.

    Anybody use one?

    Thank You!!!

I didn’t find the right solution from the Internet.
